Rodolfo Reyna
Rodolfo has over 20 years experience in data networks, telecommunications, management consulting, international sales, new product development, training and negotiation. He has performed technology projects for some international companies and government institutions. These include Cementos Mexicanos (CEMEX) worldwide, Cementos Apasco, Grupo PeÄoles, Sabritas, Bancomer, The Mexican Underground System, Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE), Telefonos de Mexico (TELMEX), Telefonica de EspaÄa in Chile, Brazil, Argentina and Spain, Telemar in Rio de Janeiro , Hondutel in Honduras, ICE in Costa Rica, the Mexican National Security Center, Mexican DOD, Navy, Air Force, and the Presidency of Mexico. Rodolfo has been an advisor on Innovation, entrepreneurship and technology transfer for the Ministries of Foreign Trade and Science of Technology of Costa Rica. He has collaborated with The Program on Regions of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Stanford University (SPRIE).
As an entrepreneur Rodolfo has served as VP of Latin America, VP of Technology and Business Developer for early stage companies. These include RH Electronica, SAMAR, and DAGAR S.A de C.V. in Mexico, Commendo Software in Palo Alto California.
He is an advisor for Stanford Society for Entrepreneurship in Latin America (SELA), Vice President of The Innovation and Leadership Network (Mexican Professionals in Silicon Valley) where he is also the leader of the focus group on Energy and Green Technology, Rodolfo is contributing in the creation of the Green Buildings Ordinance for the City of Cupertino California.
Rodolfo is currently a Business Consultant at TechBA Silicon Valley (Mexican Technology Business Accelerator), Sales Director at MetaOption an offshore software development company from India and Managing Director at R Reyna Group Consultants.
For five years Rodolfo worked as a full-time professor at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. He taught Physics, Radiation and Propagation of Electromagnetic Waves Solid State Physics, Electricity, Magnetism, and Electrical Circuits. As a professor at Universidad Iberoamericana he also worked in semiconductors projects at Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics Institute of Mexico. He also has performed lectures on Business Incubators, Negotiation, Entrepreneurship and How to Make Business in Latin America at University of California Santa Cruz, Stanford University, Instituto Panamericano de Alta Direccion de Empresas (IPADE) and Universidad de Las Americas in Mexico.
In his professional experience Rodolfo has worked for Digital Telephone Systems, Network Support Systems, and Government System divisions of HARRIS Corporation in California and Melbourne Florida, Grupo SIT a System Integration company, and Grupo Consultor Ejecutivo a consultant firm in Mexico.
Rodolfo Reyna is fluent in English and Spanish, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with major in Communications, Electronics and Control from Universidad Iberoamericana, D1 Business at IPADE ( Instituto Panamericano de Alta Direccion de Empresas ) in Mexico City. Negotiation and Teaching Negotiation from The Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School, and Marketing Strategy for Technology-Based Companies at Stanford University.
